Welcome to St James' Church, a parish in the Church in Wales
We are an evangelical Anglican Church situated near the Uplands part of Swansea and our principal concern is to share the Good News about Jesus Christ with everyone we meet. He once said that he came "that they (those who put their faith in him) may have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10). So if you want to know how to discover and live this full life through Jesus why not pop in and join us for Sunday worship, or join a Life Group or just come along and have a chat with the vicar, Mark. Coffee is on him. You can find us on Walter Road, Uplands SA1 4QF
Our mission statement, vision and values can be found in the About Us page.

3-2-1 The Story of God and you
A Life Worth Living
Starting May 29th we will be be preaching a series on Paul's Letter to the Philippians entitled "A Life Worth Living". It's not original and mirrors the book of the same name by Nicky Gumbel - at least in terms of the titles we are using. We have also made available several copies of that book in the Church library - situated in the Parish Centre - so that listening to the series and reading the book you may be able to soak yourselves in this wonderful letter.
We are also planning to record the series so that if you want to hear the sermons but have to miss one they will be available on CD. We are currently looking into trying to make these available online but that will take a little more time.
