Living the Life

  • Welcome to St James' Church, a parish in the Church in Wales
We are an evangelical Anglican Church situated on Walter Road, Uplands, Swansea.
Our principal concern is to share the Good News about Jesus Christ with everyone we meet.   Jesus said he came "that they (those who put their faith in him) may have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10).
So if you want to know how to discover and live this full life through Jesus why not join us for Sunday worship or come along to a Life Group.  If you would like to have a chat over coffee with the vicar, Mark, his contact details are below.
Our mission statement, vision and values can be found on the About Us' page.

  •   A Life Worth Living
Starting Sunday 29th May  we will be be preaching a series on Paul's Letter to the Philippians entitled "A Life Worth Living".  It's not original and mirrors the book of the same name by Nicky Gumbel - at least in terms of the titles we are using.  We have also made available several copies of that book in the Church library - situated in the Parish Centre - so that listening to the series and reading the book you may be able to soak yourselves in this wonderful letter.

We are planning to record the series so that if you miss one session and want to hear it they will be available on CD. We are currently looking into trying to make these available online but that will take a little more time.
